Wanna read some poetry I wrote?

Always searching for the lost familiar face


Never finding it in its protective place





Light does not help me in my search full of devastating despair


Dark engulfs me bringing my grief to a peak beyond real repair





Found you are now in the ground with every other sad soul


Lost you are forever now leaving me a godly goal





There are some cool things about this poem it rhymes every line ends with an alliteration, the pairs of lines end with opposite of each other always, never etc. Also the lines have the number of syllables as the line they are paired with.

yahoogroups offers hundreds and hundreds of poetry lists, or groups you can join, and there are even more writing lists than poetry you can join, i all catogories too!





But, and excuse me if I toot my own horn here but none of them are as active, friendly, priductive or just plain old fashion fun as my own writing and poetry list so... why not join mylist and share your work there, and get feed back from other poets, and / or writers?????
