Does this sound familiar?

Okay lately almost every single day for the past two weeks I've almost passed out. I'm out of breathe. I can not speak properly. I have been having trouble remembering things. I stutter a lot. I have never done drugs before. I thought at first i was feeling this way because i had a long period which lasted six to seven days. I'm not on my period anymore and almost everyday I feel like passing out. I'm very weak and tired. I abstained from meat for maybe about two weeks prior to my illness incidents. I must admit that my diet is not healthy at all. Some days two meals or even all. I have no appetite to eat. I have booked an appointment this week. In addition, when I feel like passing out my face, especially my cheeks, become very hot. I have firing headaches. I have not been sleeping as well either. I'm under some kind of stress. Is this a reaction to a lot of stress? or am i truly ill? If so, what illnesses may I possibly have? I am sickle-cell carrier if that helps.

Does this sound familiar?
You are very likely anemic, due to a combination of not eating meat (without adding a supplement) and the sickle-cell. What happens in anemia is the body can't transport oxygen because of a problem with the red blood cells. That's why you can't breathe. Sickle-cells are anemic cells that are misshaped. They can pile up and block vessels. I see you made an appt. Until then, make sure you eat enough and have some meat or protein shake or something. You must eat a few good meals a day. If you are concerned about weight (which you haven't mentioned), eat lots of veggies, fruits, and rice. At the doctor's, talk to them about how to eliminate meat from your diet without becoming anemic. This a common mistake made by many first-time vegetarians.
Reply:This sounds exactly like a gradual starvation. I believe you are anorexic and looking for reasons other than your refusal to eat to blame for your problems. Grow up, accept some responsibility for your health, and get help for anorexia.
Reply:I definitely think it's a good idea that you are seeing your doctor. It could be a couple of things: low blood pressure, anemia, or low blood sugar are a few. Each of these can easily be checked by your doctor. Good luck.
Reply:Sounds like low blood and lack of red meat intake.

Get u some B12 vitamins to replace the meats u missin.

U are normal, just u need to change diets and eat iron rich foods like beets, raisins, take some pms pills.
Reply:that sounds like anorexia to me, and those are the symptoms i had. I was not even aware of the fact that i was suffering from a mental illness, but therapy really did help, and I learned to cope with my problems better, and eat right too.
