Why is it that some people look so familiar?

for instance, people always say that they have seen me before, but i don't think they have. My mum said i have got one of those faces....whats that supposed to mean?


Maybe there are lots of lookalikes of me going around....

I am in Valencia/Spain at the moment and well I was only saying to my brother today that we have seen so many people that look so alike, to people that we know from home
Reply:they say everyone has a twin,sometimes i think it is true,but even genetic twin`s have different finger print`s.

Yes, there is a type of face and feature that is copied....just as we sometimes think Chinese people look alike, so they think we look alike.


I have sometimes been told I am the "double" of someone. When I see that person, I am furious!!! They are not nearly as good looking as I think I am!


Once someone told me that a dog who ran up to us had the same expression in its eyes as I had!!!


I did once see a man who had something very similar to me in his eyes and face. It was an uncanny feeling, weird!
Reply:yeah. this one guy looked a little like me. nut we never reallly met. I saw him every week at school. My friend's mother found her look a like by accident .she saw her on a catwalk.her mother took a picture.The girl on the picture looks like my friend's twin.
Reply:I have had people start talking to me and then say. You are not who I thought you were. You look just like someone else.
Reply:I've got two - my sisters.
Reply:There are supposed to be only a few basic face shapes, I believe it is only 7. So with the other slight changes due to nose shape etc the face can look familiar. If you have a contact with the police ask them as they use these characteristics for the identi-fit pictures.
