Martin Lawrence for president?

He could do well if given the opportunity:


ML has a spectacular ability, at least on camera, of interacting with people of a wide range of backgrounds and personalities. He obviously has energy, is extremely likable, and is comfortable tastefully addressing controversy, even when they are about himself. ML does not shy away from probing questions.





In the realm of foreign policy, ML would be a familiar face in many countries, as his movies and shows are exported, globally, and would bring in more public interest into the poltical arena. Although he never plays a serious character, ML is smart enough to use his comic ability to appeal to even the most serious individuals.





ML has always been true and loyal to the black community, that brought him to fame, and so it would follow that he would never turn his back on his own country and its people.

Martin Lawrence for President?I just can't see and actor especially a comedian in anything political. I love Martin he always has me cracking up but im not sure he would make a goood president. Youve made some good points tho. It would be cool to have a celeb preisdent who isnt serious and dead boring. Oh and whats even better is that hes black! Finally we'd have a president from another race besides white! Im still waiting for that day!

I can't bear to watch him on film, let alone allow him to run my country! He is SO annoying and too over the top. I don't like comedians like him and he is JUST that, a comedian...nothing else. He is not going to win the Oscar anytime soon NOR will he be winning a presidential primary, let alone election.
