Please. I just started and nothing is turning out, as I would have liked. The teachers that I know are not there anymore and the freshmen class is huge. There are more of them than the other classes combine. Therefore, to see a familiar face is nice, but rare. I have never seen the hallways so crowded before. It does not feel right. I was thinking that perhaps when the clubs start running it might get better... I wish I could repeat this year.
How can I make my senior year in high school better?
i wish i could do it all over--but let me tell ya, have a great year, keep up with your studies--you are going to be graduating and becoming an adult and believe me nothing will be the same---enjoy everything you can that has been offered to you now and take every chance for anything good that comes your way this year or you'll end up regretting it
Reply:many ppl feel lost wen skools start. but dont worry every thing will be fine once u noe all the teachers and ur classmates a little better. of course joining clubs is a very good way to meet new ppl and make friends
Reply:Have fun with your friends. Get to know a lot of people from your class that you never knew that well before. Join clubs you never thought about before but look interesting. Make friends with some of the underclassmen. I know most of them are immature, but there are some good ones out there. Go to school activities such as the football games to support your school and socialize.
Reply:i would pick a group or club you are somewhat interested in and run with that. you probably don't want to spread your time too thin over a lot of activities. I have found it easier to form lasting friendships with people when you spend a lot of time together and have same point of reference. good luck!
Reply:I think you are putting too much pressure on yourself because it is your senior year. Just go with the flow. Realize it has just started. Things will get better. Most seniors are apathetic and get senioritis anyway!
I'm not saying you should, but I do think you are worrying too much about making it a picture perfect year. I think if you lighten up about it, you will enjoy it. And keep in mind that college will be even better! The best is yet to come!
Reply:Do what you want. Not what they want. Keep inhibitions. It'll be fun. Lose inhibitions. Big trouble. I'd keep up with the studies either way. Unless it's logically close enough to the end where it will no longer matter. It's time for you to move on to bigger and better things. It's your choices after this. Not someone else's jurisdicting them for you. I'd find a very successful person in the business you want to get into and befriend them. Eventually to become an apprentice, even if unofficially, and become mentored by them. Don't get attached to this last school year. It feels different because your time is over. It's their time for high school now. You'll be gone soon. That's why they call it graduation. You're moving on to something much better. Freedom.
Reply:Make it as pleasant for you and your classmates, as much as you can.Long terms and images are developed for the rest of your life. You never know when the child that no one talked to,could benefit you in some way,in the Future.Make new Friends.
Reply:Just read this book ( your best year yet ! )
