I need a name for my character!?

She stepped through the bushes and almost fell over the man lying on the grass. His hands and feet were tied and thick wad of cloth had been pushed into his mouth and fixed with duct tape. The face looked strangely familiar, she bent down to help him, but the man shook his head violently. She couldn’t understand the look of terror in his eyes as he looked at her. And then she realized he was not looking at her, but at someone, or some thing, behind her.





_________woke up in a cold sweat. It had all been a dream. Then why did it feel so real? The telephone next to her dresser rang. ___________picked it up, and answered sleepily. "Hello?" "Yes hello, This is Detective Ethan McCann is _______there? ." a male voice answered. "This is she...can this wait? It's 2:30 AM..." "Well, we have unfortunate news. Your father has um passed away. We need you to come to the office right away for questioning.

PS- Nobody says "can this wait" when a Detective calls at 2:30am. You automatically assume that it is bad news or an emergency of some kind.
Reply:If you're interested in name meanings you can pick a name based on her physical appearance, her personality (what others see), her character (who she really is inside), even her likes or dislikes. Otherwise maybe you could pick a name just because it's one you like.
