I won't go to sleep, am I running from something?

I'm an adult that will not go to sleep even though I'm dead tired and have an early morning obligation, I do this all the time, and it messes up my life. It's like I'm trying to fight the next day coming, and I know if I go to sleep, I will realize the day even faster...that and I think I'm missing something, something I keep hoping to fulfill that I can't find if I'm off in dreamland somewhere. I feel like a kid, the little ones that hate naps that you have to put to bed. What is this that I'm facing? Does this sound familiar to anyone? What do I do?

I won't go to sleep, am I running from something?
i have that problem too when i feel like i forgot to do something but i liten to soothing music or i just close my eyes and i eventually fall asleep


but maybe u should find some remedies online


or take prescription drugs to fall asleep but watch out not to get addicted


but the easiest thing is .......go on a vacation somewhere cheap like with family were you won't be thinking of how much is this gonna cost me and settle all problems before you go so you don't worry about them later ,peace!
Reply:Wow, I think I do this to. That's probably why I'm up and able to answer your question. I'm going to take a sleeping pill and make myself go to bed. I think maybe you should too.

Reply:I'm only 14 and I Had the same problem.Its like i wanted to go to sleep really bad but i just couldnt.So i started downloading this hypnosis thing on limewire. I Listen to it every night and i fall asleep.Relaxation music gets me really sleepy.


Also, i heard that talking on the phone for a long time can make it harder for you to sleep.I Dont know, but i saw it on Yahoo news thing.lol.


You should download some of that hypnosis or relaxation stuff on limewire or something.lol Hope i helped.?

Reply:Take advantage of being awake and pamper yourself,girl! Take a bubble bath, paint your nails, sip tea,whatever...that way you'll be relaxed and wake up feeling good about yourself. or watch the sarah silverman show, that puts me to sleep lol
Reply:I can't sleep quite often, but it is because of the medications I am on.

Maybe you can't sleep because of too high or too low night time cortisol levels.


Stress can cause sleeplessness.

i go to sleep at 5 AM and wake up at 7!


and i don't know why! its like i feel better awake in the night, than in the day..

Reply:The same thing happened when i found out i was two months pregnant.......is there a specific thing that is bothering you ?......if there is its beter for you to talk to someone in person!......or if you just feel like you start to worry about everything when is time to sleep, try thinking of a possotive thing that you did today or ever before.........or try thinking of someone you realy love.......try having sex,it works for me.........if that doesnt help then you should see a doctor!.....hope i helped!!
