If i throw a party, will you come?

it occurred to me that i have a mental picture of each of you who contribute often and i wondered how accurate i would be in my assumptions. my imagination is very detailed and as i read the text i invision you speaking.

how many of you would like to meet the others here? or do you enjoy the anonymity involved? also, do you "picture" people as strangers or perhaps assign a face that's already familiar like....mmmm...i dunno, maybe cliffie is brad pitt?

If i throw a party, will you come?
I like a good party you can count me in!

It would be interesting to meet the others who post on here, I imagine most of them would be a good laugh, we could have party games like see who can kick the guy from New Jersey the hardest :-D

Edit: I don't really bother with anything else on the net though just here and youtube now and again.

edit: Oh come on jonmcn49! just for you we will play scientific trivial pursuits :-D
Reply:Oh, yes. Curiousity killed the cat aside. I'd take the chance that I could connect on a real and more natural basis. I don't assign any celebrity face but I do envision a face for even those with the gray silhouette.

I would expect only, to be very surprised.

C. :)!!
Reply:I also have a vague picture of what the regular members look like.

I would be interested in seeing others here (except the creepy ones).

Does anyone have facebook here? It would be intersting to put a face and profile to a name.

Anonymity is good in as far as no one can stalk you.
Reply:Sure, I'll come, but is it BYOB or are you supplying?
Reply:no.. I wouldn't come because I have enough on my plate to deal with.. I dont have much time for myself let alone a party...
Reply:No. No one here interests me on any level.
Reply:That's funny, I do the same thing. I picture you all as strangers but I definitely give you all faces that I somehow base on the character of your answers and questions. I do like being anonymous though.
Reply:Well, I tend to read more in this section than I post. But if you had some top shelf Vodka I would definitely show up!
Reply:Only if the guys from Jersey get to kick back.

Fuggeddaboudit.
Reply:Since this is an imaginary question, yes, I would certainly want to meet others. I do have images of some people that I interact with frequently in Answers, not necessarily in GWS. If I am allowed to name names, I think it would be fun meeting people like Kate Lomax, Chad, Sarah, Char, Johno, Bijou, I m sexiness (or something like that), for their varying opinions and thinking, and MOST certainly this guy who keeps changing his name all the time, almost every hour...in my opinion he would be one good hell of a company in the party..., and you know who I mean :-))

Yeah, and do you have a particular 'theme' in mind for this party ? :-)
Reply:There are a few people I would meet and maybe have lunch, but I wouldn't come to a party because there are others I really don't want to meet.

I do picture people. I usually assume they look like their avatar, though it may have been randomly chosen.
Reply:That's a really good question. I would like to get to know the people here, but I mainly get a buzz out of people not knowing who I am - most of my friends are on Facebook (hence I am a loner on 360).

I picture people on here as strangers, and despite having an active imagination, I can't say that mine is as vivid as yours! I like the fact that I don't know who people are and vice versa, because I get a real impression of what people think. People are not afraid to tell the truth on here, but when they are being malicious, it is obvious.

I would love to come to a party and meet all of you, but sometimes the imagination is what keeps us on our toes. If it was nearby, I'd be there =oD
Reply:I will come... i like to see and meet different people

Cheers
Reply:As long as the party room has "equipment" that allows real men to "reward" the feminists for their ideology.
Reply:I would love to go. I never been to parties before.
Reply:I won't go. I prefer to hide although I've nothing to be shamed of my looks.
Reply:I would love to come! I do picture everyone in my head to some extent but I would love to actually see them in person. I use my avatar instead on my picture simply because I am at work most of the time when I am fooling around on here. My avatar is a little misleading...but you cant make a fat avatar...otherwise I look just like that. I wish RAJ would make an avatar just so I could have a mental image (my imagination isnt that good) but I understand its not worth it for him to make one when he has to start a new account twice a day.
Reply:Roflmao, Johno, that's a great party game.

Sure, I'd come. I'll bring cookies, since I have YET to see any here, no matter how many times I show up hoping for them. :P
Reply:That's funny, I was just thinking of this same thing...I tend to picture people based on their avatar, which is hilarious.

I probably wouldn't come, but only because I would fear for my life.
Reply:I'd love to know what some of these people are really like, but I'd have two problems.

First, yeah, I value my privacy too much and second, I wouldn't really need to be around the trolls. I did second grade once already.

But in theory I think it's a superb idea.
Reply:I think it would be great. It's so much easier to understand others when you know them as a person, and not just an avatar and some typed words. I'm there! Shall I bring some wine?
Reply:Raj: The waivers won't be necessary. Don't think for a second that they will.

I would definitely like to meet the others here. We'd probably be more respectful of each other in person.
