Was he flirting with me?

He has a little restaurant, and i have gone to buy food from him several times. The first time i went i noticed he was kinda cute... When I left it seemed to me he said thank you and bye way too much. Another time, an older lady was helping him, he served me the food, and i payed her. He was doing something else in the kitchen, but turned to say goodbye to me again, making eye contact. I don't know if he's this attentive with all his customers...


Anyway, i went back there and he asked me if i'm a model, i was like "uhmm, noo". He said my face seemed familiar to him... I said probably because i have been there before, but that i'm no model, and don't think he's seen me outside of there.


lol, i don't know if he just didn't remember me from before or what! I think he does 'cause he always greets me like he's happy to see me again.


I'm not asking cause i want to do anything about it, but i don't go out much and have lost perspective about these things.

He probably was flirting a little cause i mean he basically said u looked like a model! But im sure the "bye" and "thank you" were just part of his job. Smile at him the next time u c him.

Reply:who knows if he was flirting or not!? Why don't YOU flirt with him a little...and see what happens? Ask for his recommendation on what to order or something. Make eye contact. see what happens.

He has interest in you and he was prolly trying to get your name, in an indirect way. Talk to him, have some small talk or ask him if he's free for coffee or something.
