How do I prevent 1999 Hyundai Sonata power door locks from locking on their own ALL the time?

My car door automatic locks, lock automatically on their own when I:

a) open the door

b) close the door

c) start driving

d) when key is in ignition and car is idling

They basically lock seconds after the doors are unlocked, or will lock and unlock at random times while I'm driving.

I've been told to pull the fuses, but am curious to know if I pull the lock fuse, will this help? or will I also be unplugging the power window fuse?

I have been locked out of my car 3 times in the last 3 months and am becoming a familiar face with CAA!! HELP!!

How do I prevent 1999 Hyundai Sonata power door locks from locking on their own ALL the time?
I hate it when cars have that feature....I'd call a Hyundai dealer and see if they can be disabled by removing some relay....the fuse may be another way if it's a separate circuit from the windows but then you also lose all power lock features too. Another option would be to have a shop cut the power feed wire for the drivers door lock where it goes from the body to the front of the door through a conduit.

I had a lady customer that almost froze to death because of that feature on her Isuzu Trooper...she was driving in a blizzard to see a friend and stopped in a rural area to read a road sign...she had to get out to read the sign and the door locked behind her before she knew it. She had no coat on and could barely manage to find an object and the strength to break a window glass.
Reply:for starters u cud give it a push into the arabian sea....or even better u cud lend it to shahrukh if he plans to make a sequel to DON...... or try pulling the fuse of the dealers workshop....and c if dat helps......haahha.........had great fun....man just loved ur question....i luv the hyundai sonata
